Elected as an Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 1995, Honorary President of the State Grid Electric Power Research Institute, Editor-in-Chief of *Automation of Electric Power Systems* and *Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy (MPCE)*, and adjunct doctoral supervisor at Zhejiang University, Southeast University, Shandong University, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and other universities. The EEAC theory and algorithm he invented solved the world-class problem of quantitative analysis of power system transient stability, and is so far the only quantitative analysis method in the world that has been applied in engineering. He developed China's uniquely own and globally leading large power grid blackout defense system in this field, which has been applied on a large scale to more than 4/5 of China's provincial and above power grids. He proposed the Cyber-Physical-Social System for Energy (CPSSE) framework and an overall solution for the power grid to actively support energy transition, providing theoretical support for the low-carbon transition of countries, regions, and energy enterprises. At present, he is leading a team to explore carbon neutrality pathway optimization methods under the CPSSE framework, committed to providing scientific and technological support for the realization of China's carbon neutrality goal. To date, he has published 5 monographs, 656 high-level academic papers at home and abroad, and been granted 60 invention patents. He has won 1 National Science Conference Award, 1 First Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, 3 Second Prizes of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, 2 Second Prizes of the National Technological Invention Award, 1 Nomination Award of the National Book Award, 1 China Patent Gold Award, 1 China Patent Excellence Award, and 1 Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress. He has also received many honorary titles, including National Young and Middle-aged Expert with Outstanding Contributions, National Advanced Worker, and the First Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology Outstanding Contribution Award.

He has long been engaged in research on healthy pig breeding and has led and completed more than 30 research projects at the institute, provincial, national, and international cooperation levels. He has published more than 300 high-quality papers in journals such as PNAS and CNS sub-journals. All his English papers have been cited 86,714 times, with an H-index of 127 in Google Scholar. As the first completer, he won 1 Second Prize of the National Natural Science Award, 3 Second Prizes of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, and 1 Third Prize. He has also received the Hunan Provincial Outstanding Contribution Award and the Ho Leung Ho Lee Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress. In 2018, at the 14th International Symposium on Digestive Physiology of Pigs held in Brisbane, Australia, he received the Asia-Pacific Nutrition Award (Outstanding Achievement Award).

Juan Manuel Corchado received B.Sc. degree in computer engineering from the University of West Scotland, Glasgow, U.K., in 1995, and the Ph.D. degree in computer science from the University of Salamanca, Salamanca, Spain, in 1998.,He has been a Full Professor with the Chair with the University of Salamanca since November 2010. He was the Vice-Rector of Research and Technology Transfer from 2013 to 2017 and the Director of Science Park with the University of Salamanca. He was the Dean of the Faculty of Science twice. He leads the renowned Bioinformatics, Intelligent Systems and Educational Technology Research Group in 2000. He is currently the Director of the IoT Digital Innovation Hub, the President of the AIR Institute, the Project Leader in the DIGIS3 Consortium, and a member of the Board of Trustees of the AstraZeneca Foundation. He has been a Visiting Professor with Osaka Institute of Technology, Osaka, Japan, since January 2015, a Visiting Professor with the University Malaysia Kelantan, Kota Bharu, Malaysia, and has been a member of the Advisory Group on Online Terrorist Propaganda, European Counter Terrorism Centre. He is also a Professor with the University of Salamanca. He has been the President of the IEEE Systems, Man and Cybernetics Society, and an Academic Coordinator of the University Institute for Research in Art and Animation Technology, University of Salamanca, and a Researcher with the University of Paisley, Paisley, U.K.; University of Vigo, Vigo, Spain; and the Plymouth Marine Laboratory, Plymouth, U.K. He also combines all his activity with the direction of master’s programmes in security, digital animation, the Internet of Things, 3-D design and printing, digital transformation, blockchain, and smart cities and intelligent buildings with the University of Salamanca. Prof. Ts. Dr. Mohd Shafry Mohd Rahim, Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), is a renowned expert in artificial intelligence (AI) and image processing. He played a key role in establishing Malaysia’s first Faculty of Artificial Intelligence at UTM, which was officially launched by Prime Minister YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim on May 10, 2024. With a Ph.D. in Spatial Modeling and extensive expertise in computer graphics, Prof. Shafry has held prominent academic and administrative positions, including Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic & International) and Chair of the Institute for Life-Ready Graduates.
