Yan He 

Professor He, in the Department of Laboratory Medicine at Zhujiang Hospital of Southern Medical University, Prof. He is also the deputy director of Microbiome Medicine Center, head of National Key R&D Research Task, member of international journal “Medicine in Microecology (Elsevier)” editorial board. He also obtained the National Science Foundation for Outstanding Youth. He serves as the deputy director of Microbiome Medicine Branch of Guangdong Precision Medicine Application Association, director of Intestinal Flora Branch of Biophysics Society, and member of Science and Technology Alliance of Young Laboratory Medicine Teachers.  

He mainly engaged in microbiome medicine, including the optimization of multi-omics data methods, have discovered the geographical variation of gut microbiome and their key effects on biomarker mining, to reveal the key bacterial biomarker of intestinal flora in diseases such as stroke and metabolic syndrome and their potential causal mechanism. He has published papers in Nature Medicine (cover story), Gut (2020,2021), Diabetes Care,Microbiome (2015,2018)  and other publications as the first author and correspondent author, and has been cited around 2000 times.
